This Privacy Policy is declared by the Jožef Stefan Institute (Jamova 39, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia).


Introduction

DEXiWare is a scientific tool developed throughout many research projects that hat has received funding from different European Union’s and Slovene national funding schemes. This privacy policy will explain how we use the personal data collected from you when you use the system. By using the system, you accept and undertake to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

What data do we collect?

The system collects the following data:

  • Broader data defined by the indicators used in the models of the instance of DEXiWare used which changes from installation to installation.


How do we collect your data?

You directly provide the system with most of the data necessary to function. The system collects data and process data when you:

  • Use the system for assessment and analysis of a value-chain.

  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.


How will we use your data?

The system collects your data so that it can:

  • Process your order for assessment and analysis of a value-chain.

  • Validate and improve (in the future) the models’ performance based on practical usage of the system.

  • Perform other scientific research in regarding the topic underlying the installation of DEXiWare.

The collected data are not publicly disposed, but protected by the user credentials. Each user has access to its own data.


How do we store your data?

Your data are securely stored on data servers at Jozef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia, with proper protection which includes firewalls and limited access to the network on which the servers are attached.

Your data will be kept on the aforementioned location with no limitation regarding the time, or until you request they to be completely deleted.


Marketing

There is no intention to use your data for commercial and marketing purposes.
